Yangon-Maruk U-Sittwe-Yangon [4 Days / 3 Nights]
Day (1) Yangon-Maruk U
Transfer to Yangon International Airport. Flight from
Yangon to Sittwe. On arrival at Sittwe Airport,
transfer to Jetty for boat to Mrauk U. Overnight in
Mrauk U.
Day (2) Mrauk U
After breakfast, drive to an Ancient Capital Wathali (8th
to 10th century AD), about 8 km to the north of
Mrauk U. Visiting Wethali Palace site; City Wall;
Defensive Moat and then proceed to Kyauktaw. Visit
Mahamuni Buddha Image, according to the legend the original
site of Mandalay’s famous bronze Buddha image. Return to
Mrauk U. Afternoon, visit the museum and continue to the
most famous Sittaung Pagoda, a curious and remarkable
temple with countless Buddha Images and relief; the fortress
like temple Htukkan-Thein, noted for the interesting
stone sculptures in the vaulted passages; an octagonal temple
Andawthein with its unique store carvings and floral
designs; and enjoy sunset at Shwetaung . Overnight in
Mrauk U.
Day (3) Mrauk U- Sittwe
After breakfast, transfer to jetty for departure by boat to
Sittwe. Afternoon, Sittwe sightseeing includes
Payagyi Pagoda; Aye cedi (stupa); Point Sea Beach
and enjoy wondering through the town. Overnight in
Sittwe.
Day (4) Siittwe-Yangon
After breakfast, transfer to Sittwe Airport
for flight to Yangon. |
