Yangon-Bago-Mawlamyaing-Yangon (6days/5nights)
Day(1) Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to hotel by tour guide.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day(2) Yangon-Bago
Morning excursion to Bago, an ancient capital of
Mon Kingdom.
Tour highlights include
Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most
venerated pagodas in Myanmar; the famous Kalyani Sima
(Ordination Hall);
Shwethalyaung Pagoda, one of the most
lifelike of Reclining Buddhas;
Kyaik Pun Pagoda, four high and
huge Buddha images and Bago Market. Afternoon leisure in
Bago.
Overnight in Bago.
Day(3) Bago-Mawlamyaing
After breakfast, lave Bago for journey to
Mawlamyaing, 219 km
from Bago via Sittaung. Overnight in Mawlamyaing.
Day(4) Mawlamyaing
Early morning, drive to Mudon, on the way visit the largest
reclining Buddha. Next stop at the Cotton Weaving Industry and
then proceed to Thanbyuzayat War Memorial Cemetery. Later, visit
Kyaikkhami pagoda and then to Setse Beach. On the way back, stop
over at some durian orchards. Later in the evening, highlights
feature Kyaikthanlan pagoda, Yadanar Bonmyint Monastery and
sunset at view point.
Day(5) Mawlamyaing-Yangon
Early morning, continue visit to Kyaikmayaw Pagoda, 29
kilometers southeast of Mawlamyaing and drive back to Yangon
via Sittaung and Bago. Overnight in Yangon.
Day(6) Yangon
Morning sightseeing of Yangon featuring the massive
Shwedagon
Pagoda, famous for its religious significance, artistic beauty
and its association with Myanmar history and culture; Karaweik
Hall which represents a fine work of traditional architecture;
Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument;
National Museum
where Myanmar’s regalia of historic value are displayed and Bogyoke Market, one of the famous shopping centers in
Yangon.
Transfer to Yangon Airport for departure flight. |
