YANGON-MRAUK U-SITTWE-YANGON [6 Days / 5 Nights]
Day (1) Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and transfer
hotel. Afternoon, Yangon sightseeing includes
Sule
Pagoda, dating back over 2000 years ago;
Chauk Htat Gyi
Reclining Buddha Image; Karaweik Hall, a royal
floating barge and
Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the
world's most spectacular monuments. . If arrival at
Yangon in the evening, welcomed by guide and transfer to
hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
Day (2) Yangon-Mrauk U
Morning flight to Sittwe, capital of Rakkhine State.
Transfer to jetty for boat to Mrauk U. Over night in
Mrauk U.
Day (3) Mrauk U
After breakfast, excursion to An Ancient Capital Wethali,
(8th to 10th century AD), about 8km to the north of Mrauk
U. Visiting Wethali Palace Site; City Wall;
Defensive Moat and then proceed to Kyauktaw. Visit
Mahamuni Buddha Image, according to the legend the original
size of Mandalay's Famous Bronze Buddha Image. Return to
Mrauk U. Afternoon, visit the Museum and continue
to the most famous Sittaung Pagoda, a curious and
remarkable temple with countless Buddha Images and reliefs; the
fortress-like temple Htukkan-Thein , noted for the
interesting stone sculptures in the vaulted passages; an
octagonal temple Andawthein with its unique stone
curvings and floral designs and enjoy sunset at
Shwetaung. Overnight in Mrauk U.
Day (4) Mrauk U - Sittwe
After breakfast, transfer to jetty for departure by boat to
Sittwe. Afternoon, Sittwe sightseeing includes
Payagyi Pagoda; Cultural Museum; Aye Cedi Stupa;
Point Sea Beach and Sittwe Market. Overnight in
Sittwe.
Day (5) Sittwe – Yangon
Morning at leisure before transfer to Sittwe Airport for
flight to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.
Day (6) Yangon Departure
After breakfast, travelers having arrived at Yangon in
the morning of day (1) will transfer to airport for departure
flight. For those having arrived at Yangon in the evening
of day (1), a morning of sightseeing will include Yangon City
Tour Hightlights as shown in day (1) itinerary. After lunch
transfer to airport for departure flight. |
