YANGON-BAGAN-POPA-MANDALAY-INLE LAKE-YANGON [8 Days/7 Nights]

Day (1) Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

Day (2) Yangon – Bagan
After breakfast, flight to Bagan. Tour highlights include a visit to Nyaung-U Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of Myanmar stupas; 12th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha Cave Temple; Wet Gyi Inn Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with superb mural paintings of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carving and Ananda Temple  with four standing Buddha Images.

After lunch, visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby Myinkaba village. Visit Manuha Temple, built in the Mom-Style in 1059; Nanphaya Temple,a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha; Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple with its fine mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO; Bupaya Pagoda to watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River  Overnight in Bagan.

Day (3) Bagan – Mount Popa
After breakfast, drive to Mt. Popa, 45km from Bagan. Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano with spectacular views. Return to Bagan. Visit the site of Tayokepyay Temple in Min Nan Thu Village and proceed to Mingalar Zedi Stupa to watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight in Bagan.

Day (4) Bagan – Mandalay
Morning flight to Mandalay. Tour highlights include Shwenandaw Monastery,the only remaining apartment of Mandalay Palace noted for its intricate woodcarving; Kuthodaw Pagoda,  known as the world largest Book; Mandalay Hill, 230 meters in elevation, commands a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside; Mandalay Palace; Mahamuni Pagoda,  the pleasant- looking image, ever being proportionate though daily overlaid with gold- leaves and Traditional Handicraft workshop, Then proceed to The Ancient Capital Amarapura and 1.2km long U Bein Bridge, after which drive over Innwa(Ava) Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy to picturesque Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries, Overnight in Manadalay.

Day (5) Mandalay – Heho
Morning flight to Heho. Transfer to the small quiet town, Pindaya to visit Pindaya Lake and Pindaya Cave, well known for its countless Buddha Images. Enjoy also the scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindya. The amazing traditional Shan Paper Making and  Bamboo Hat Making Workshops. Afternoon, from Pindaya, drive down to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake, across the Shan Plateau, though the fields of mountain  rice. Overnight in Nyaungshwe.

Day (6) Inle Lake
After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Inle Lake include; traditional pure silk weaving factory in Inpawkhon Village; 5 day rotation market at one of the village; Native’s Method of fishing; Gold and Silver Smith Workshops at Ywama Village; Cheroot and Boat Making Workshops in Nan Pan Village. Continue visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, housing five sacret and almost shapeless Buddha Images. Afternoon, visit Shan Shoulder Bag Weaving Center; Floating Garden and Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, a beautiful old teak wood building. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day (7) Inle Lake – Yangon
After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive down to Heho Airport. Flight from Heho to Yangon. Afternoon, Yangon sightseeing includes Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2000 years ago; Chauk Htat Gyi Recling Buddha Image; Karaweik Hall, a royal floating barge and Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular monuments. Overnight in Yangon.

Day  (8) Departure
Transfer to Yangon International Airport for Departure flight.
