Yangon-Bagan-Mindat-Kanpetlet-Aye Camp-Mt. Victoria-Bagan-Yangon
[8 Days/7 Nights]
Day (1) Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight
in Yangon.
Day (2) Yangon-Bagan
After breakfast, flight to Bagan. Tour highlights in
Bagan include a visit to Nyaung Oo Market;
Shwezigone Pagoda, the prototype of Myanmar Stupas;
Wet
Gyi Inn Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of
Jataka scenes; 12th century fresco adorning
the corridors of Kyansittha Cave Temple; Htilominlo
Temple noted for its plaster carving and
Ananda Temple
with four standing Buddha Images.
After Lunch, visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured
handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby
Myinkaba village. Visit Manuha Temple, built in
the Mon-style in 1059; Nanbaya Temple, a unique
sandstone monuments said to have been the palace of King
Manuha; Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple with its fine
mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed
to Bupaya Pagoda to watch the sunset over the famous
Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight in
Bagan.
Day (3) Bagan-Mindat-Kanpetlet
Morning, drive to Kanpetlet through
Mindat by open
jeep. Arrive Kanpetlet and overnight at
Kanpetlet.
Day (4) Kanpetlet-Aye Camp
Morning, drive to Aye Camp, the half way to
Mt.
Victoria. Overnight at Aye Camp.
Day (5) Aye Camp-Mt. Victoria-Aye Camp
Morning, take a light trek to Mt. Victoria Peak, which is
one of the natural National Park in Myanmar, 10,500 ft above sea
level. On the way, you can observe rare beautiful flowers,
butterflies, birds and natural beauty. And then climb down to
Aye Camp. Overnight at Aye Camp.
Day (6) Aye Camp-Kanpetlet-Mindat
Morning, drive down to Mindat through Kanpetlet.
Overnight at Mindat.
Day (7) Midat-Bagan
Morning drive back to Bagan. In Bagan, visit the
site of Tayokepyay Temple in Min Nan Thu Village
and proceed to Mingala Zedi Stupa to watch the sunset
over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight in Bagan.
Day (8) Bagan-Yangon
Flight from Bagan to Yangon. |
