Yangon - Shan State - Mandalay - Bagan - Pyay (Prome) - Yangon
[10 Days / 9 Nights]
 

Day (1) Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day (2) Yangon-Heho-Pindaya
Morning flight to Heho. Upon arrival, transfer to Pindaya cave, well known for its countless Buddha Images. Then proceed to Kalaw. Evening walking tour in Kalaw.

Day (3) Kalaw-Inle Lake
Transfer to Nyaungshwe, on the edge of Inle Lake by coach and sight-seeing in Inle Lake by boat. Tour highlights include Phaungdaw Oo Pangoda, housing five sacret and almost shapeless Buddha Images; The Unique Leg-rowers; Weaving Village Of Inpawgone; Wounderful Floating Garden; Floating Market; Method of fishing and Village Life on the lake.

Day (4) Inle-Taunggyi-Heho-Mandalay
After Breakfast, transfer to Taunggyi, capital of Shan State tour highlights include Taunggyi Market; Wish-fulfilling Pagoda and cheroot making industry. Then drive to Heho for flight to Mandalay. In Mandalay, tour highlights include Shwenanadaw Monastery, noted for its exquiside wood curving; Atumashi Monastery, the Incomparable Brick Monastery; Kuthodaw pagoda, famous for its stone slab of Buddhist scriptures; Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a large Buddha Images curve out of a single block of marble; Mandalay Hill, 230 meters in elevation, commands a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside; Mandalay Palace, a golden city within a city, this was King Mindon’s centre of glory- a truly magnificent palace; Mahamuni Pagoda, the pleasant- looking image, ever being proportionate though daily overlaid with gold- leaves and Traditional Handicraft workshop and Traditional Handicraft Workshop. Then proceed to the ancient capital Amarapura to visit U Bein Bridge, 1.2 Km long teakwood bridge (250 years old). Then drive over Innwa (Ava) Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy to picturesque Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries.

Day (5) Mandalay-Bagan (Flight)
Morning flight to Bagan. Tour highlights include Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of Myanmar stupas; 12th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha Cave Temple; Wet Gyi Inn Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with superb mural paintings of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carving and Ananda Temple  with four standing Buddha Images; Lacquerware Works and Thatbyinnyu Temple,.the highest temple in Bagan.

Day (6) Bagan Mount Papa-Bagan
Morning excursion to the enchanting Mount Popa, a great extinct volcano situated of Bagan.Mount Popa is a place of special important in Myanmar culture, history and legends . Tour highlights include toddy palm groves and jiggery cottage industry; Kyaukpadaung Market; Popa village and the famous Taungkalat, a tower like volcanic plug lying on the southwestern slope of Mount Popa. After lunch at Popa Village, drive back to Bagan and overnight in Bagan.

Day (7) Bagan-Pyay
Early morning leave Bagan for a fully day's drive to Pyay, thriving trading town situated at the confluence of Ayeyarwaddy and Nawin River. On the way, the interesting scenes of the dry zone, the land of peanuts, cotton, tobacco, sesame seeds and toddy palm. Overnight in Pyay.

Day (8) Pyay
Morning excursion to an ancient Pyu capital Thayekittaya (5th to 9th centuries AD), about 8km southeast of Pyay. Tour highlights include Palace site; Lemyethna and East Zegu Temples-the prototypes of Bagan vaulted temples; the cylinder-shaped Bawbawgyi Pagoda; Payagyi and Payama Stupas each with a high conical clone; and Archaeological Museum. Afternoon sightseeing in Pyay featuring the famous Shwesandaw Pagoda, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage spots in Myanmar on Sudassana Hill; Hsehtatkyi Pagoda, a mammoth sitting buddha Statue. Shwe Phone Pwint Library and Museum with a good collection of antiquities specially those from Thayekhittaya; and Pyay Market. Overnight in Pyay.

Day (9) Pyay-Yangon
After breakfast, return to Yangon. Afternoon sightseeing; Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, reclining Buddha Image; Kabaaye Pagoda, World Peace Pagoda ; Maha Pasana Cave where Sixth Buddhist Synod took place; Botataung Pagoda, was a famous Land-mark on Yangon's waterfront.

Day Day (10) Yangon
Morning city sightseeing: Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular monuments; National Museum and Bogyoke Aung San Market. After Lunch, transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
