Mingun
About 11 km upriver from Mandalay and on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River, Mingun is a town noted for its 90 ton Mingun Bell, the biggest ringing bell in the world. It is good to look at this gigantic bell and try to ring it. Other places worth sightseeing are a mammoth unfinished Mingun Pagoda.
